At Shepper, we ask that you pick up jobs you can complete on the assigned date. This ensures a fair opportunity for all shoppers and helps us manage capacity.
Some jobs are flexible and can be completed any time within a specified date range, and that will be available when you pick up the job.
Important Timing Notes
Each job has a deadline shown at the bottom left of the task. You must complete the job before this deadline. For example, if a job’s deadline is 8pm and you start it at 7pm, you only have one hour to complete it, so timing is crucial.
If you cannot complete a job on your selected day, please cancel it via the app. The job will then return to the Marketplace for another Shepperd.
Rescheduling and Difficult Clients
For some clients, and depending on the importance of the job, there may be an option to contact us via community or the app to request rescheduling instead of dropping the job.
Important: Jobs can only be moved in exceptional circumstances. In most cases, rescheduling will not be approved, so the job cannot be moved.
