Shepper Network is a trusted, reliable and verified network of people or Shepherds. We have people from all walks of life join the Shepper network for many reasons such as to earn extra money, to have fun doing exciting checks and even to keep active and busy as they enter retirement years.

As part of our simple onboarding, we verify all our Shepherds are who they say they are. Sometimes you may not be eligible to join the Shepper network and here’s why.

Under 18 Years of Age

You must be 18 years of age or older in order to join the network. We ask each Shepherd for their Date of Birth and also verify each Shepherds age using the ID they provide.

Why? Shepherds often check on valuable assets such as properties or vehicles therefore we need to ensure all Shepherds are over 18 years of age.

ID check has failed

This is the most common rejection reason so don’t worry if it happened to you. We are here to help. First, let’s understand why it happened as it can happen for a few reasons.

  • Unsupported ID Type - You can use Passport, Driving License or National Identity Card. These are the only forms of ID accepted as these are an official government photo ID.

  • Image Quality Issue - Ensure you take a good photo with clear information and of both sides of the document (when required). Blurry images or parts of the document cut off or covered by your fingers or thumb will cause the ID check to fail.

  • Under 18 Years of age - We verify your age using your ID. If you’ve under 18 your application will be rejected.
